This Privacy Policy explains how Trylo — Virtual Clothing Try On ("Trylo", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you, a Shopify merchant, or your customers use our app and related services (the "Service").

1. Overview

Trylo is a Shopify app that generates virtual try-on results using AI. A shopper provides a photo of themselves and selects a product image; our AI model returns a generated image showing how the product might look on them.

2. Information We Process

  • User photo: The image a shopper uploads to try on a product.
  • Product photo: The product image supplied by the Shopify store.
  • Generated try-on image: The AI output returned to the shopper.
  • Basic technical data: Minimal request metadata (e.g. timestamps, error codes) required to operate the Service.

3. How We Use Images

User and product photos are transmitted to our AI processing provider solely to generate the requested try-on result. Images are processed in-memory for the duration of the request and are not stored on our servers after the response is returned.

4. No Storage of User Images

We do not retain user-uploaded photos, product photos, or generated try-on images in any database or persistent storage controlled by Trylo. Once a try-on request is completed, the input and output images are discarded from our processing pipeline.

5. Browser Local Storage (Caching)

To improve performance and avoid re-running the same try-on unnecessarily, generated results may be cached in your browser's local storage on the device used to perform the try-on. This cache:

  • Stays only on the shopper's own device.
  • Is never transmitted back to Trylo as a separate dataset.
  • Can be cleared at any time by the shopper using their browser settings.

6. Cloudflare Proxy

Traffic to the Service is routed through Cloudflare, which acts as a network proxy, CDN, and security layer. Cloudflare may process connection metadata (such as IP address, request headers, and timing information) to deliver, secure, and accelerate the Service. Cloudflare's handling of such data is governed by Cloudflare's own privacy policy.

7. Third-Party Services

  • Shopify: Trylo runs as a Shopify app and operates within the Shopify platform.
  • AI provider: A third-party AI model is used to generate try-on images. Images are sent only for processing and are not retained by Trylo.
  • Cloudflare: Used as a proxy and security layer.

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell user data. We do not share user-uploaded images with third parties except the AI processing provider strictly necessary to perform the try-on, and Cloudflare as part of network delivery.

9. Security

Image data is transmitted over HTTPS. Because we do not persist user images, the risk of unauthorized access to stored personal images is minimized by design.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). Do not use Trylo to upload images of children without appropriate consent.

11. Your Rights

Because Trylo does not store user images, there is generally no personal image data for us to access, export, or delete on your behalf. You may clear cached try-on results at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for the merchant's store.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
